The Raise Academy established an Education Review Group (ERG) of members in March 2026, with it’s first meeting taking place on 26th March 2026. The ERG meets every school half-term following an agenda driven by the Board of Trustees of the YES Trust.
The ERG’s role is to provide focused oversight, challenge and support on the quality of education within the school. Its core purpose is to secure high educational standards by reviewing performance, monitoring and supporting improvement and ensuring that the school is in alignment with the Trust’s strategic delivery plan. In doing so, the ERG provides assurance to the Board of Trustees, ultimately strengthening governance by helping the Trust Board fulfil its responsibility for educational standards.
All aspects of safeguarding, school improvement, finance, HR, H&S and strategic leadership are discussed at meetings, with the ERG playing a pivotal role in ensuring that the Trust delivers high-quality, inclusive education.
