We have new students starting throughout the year due to in-year transfers.
We will endeavour to offer a place to all prospective students and if we are able to, the admissions process works as follows:
- The Local Authority consult with The Raise Academy by sending the EHCP for the child.
- The Pastoral Lead will review the EHCP. If the needs of the child can be met the family will be invited in for a tour and a meeting with the SENDCO and the Headteacher.
- A decision will be made following this meeting and the Local Authority will be notified.
- Student accompanied by parents/carers and Pastoral Lead visit school and complete their Home School Agreement
- Parents/Carer’s will apply for transport via the local authority.
- Once transport is in place, students will start on a transition timetable. They will complete 3 weeks of transition of part-time in order to settle into the new school environment.
- Week 1 – 9.30am – 11am
- Week 2 – 9.30am – 12.40pm
- Week 3 – 9.30am – 2.10pm
- Week 4 – 9.30am – 3.30pm
