At The Raise Academy, our careers programme involves educating students about the various career opportunities available to them and providing guidance on how to pursue these pathways. This includes helping students understand their own skills, interests, and values, as well as teaching them how to navigate the job market, apply for further education, or seek vocational training.
Careers education also includes developing essential skills like CV writing, interview preparation, networking, and resilience, which are vital for career success.
When students understand their career options and feel equipped to pursue them, it fosters a sense of confidence and purpose. Our education helps students set goals, develop resilience, and navigate challenges. This contributes to their personal growth, helping them become more self-assured, motivated, and future-focused.
