Section 10 (S10) Report
We would like to thank everyone who contributed to our Section 10 consultation. The consultation window ended on 1st December 2023. The majority of stakeholders that attended the consultation events and provided feedback were overwhelmingly in support of The Raise Academy. In addition to commenting on the Trusts Vision and Ethos as “going above and beyond”, parents, carers and professionals agreed that the Youth Engagement Schools Trust should enter into funding agreement with the Secretary of State.
Respondents felt the school and the Trusts specialist skills were “much needed in the area” and recognised how difficult it must be for students and their parents, currently attending schools out of area or attending schools that cannot fully meet their needs. Feedback from parents, carers and professionals highlighted how the Trusts vision would support the most vulnerable students in the area and provide opportunities that are otherwise unavailable. Most stakeholders were excited at the prospect of the new specialist school in the area.
